@MurderedByMidgets True - yelling, however, is definitely not part of our room clearing SOP. It would more or less defeat the purpose of the shoulder taps. The yelling is super motivating, though.

@Billswiftgti Never remove your firing hand. ALWAYS use non firing hand to use hand signals.

I personally select the insertion of a claw, into a sniffer, or you can go old school and give 'em the one straddling the fence!

0:17 nothing more intimidating

@DigitalCyclone It is also incredibly scary to be rushed by a team of screaming American soldiers. (:

@Anonymus0809 well we dont know it was a surprise attack. For all we know the enemy was standing right there. but i was just making a point. If it is a surprise attack than yes its probably best not to yell
-
@fifaps3gaming Yes, I know that but there's no point to stack up prepare to move in and then yell... It's supposed to be a surprise attack, minimize the risks. Yelling in this situation can cost your teammates life. It is motivating, but you just dont use it in a close quarter situation like this.

@Anonymus0809 actually its been proven that yelling not only helps your own confidence going into battle but also intimidates your enemy.
is 0:07 right?Do you ever let go of the pistol grip to do a signal?

@Billswiftgti You can, there's really no specified hand when utilizing a hand signal. Releasing your hand obviously makes it impossible to fire your weapon, but releasing it for such a short period of time isn't going to be a big deal. Also realize that when signaling, you're signaling to SOMEONE - that someone will be LOOKING where you are signaling and covering that sector of fire while you replace your hand - even if it's just for a millisecond.
