Chip's Challenge - TomP3 Lvl 61 (Train)

This was a cool level I made, simulating the player on a moving train. To complete it, the player had to reach the front and hit the controls in order to be able to escape the "Runaway Train". Make no mistake, this is a very frustrating level to complete. It took me dozens of recordings before I finally did it. The blobs and the middle carriage with both types of bugs is what always killed me. I suppose the N64 game Goldeneye in a way influenced me to make this level.

get a sense of where the blobs can possibly move. at an instance like 147.8, you can see that there is positively no chance of the blobs on the left catching you as you move across to the right. so run. then you could hide in the second mini-room and sneak behind the blob when it moves to the left. of course, that blob might still mess around in that room, but dealing with one is a lot better than two. =)

Yeah, well when I was doing it I can't look into the future and see whether or not the blobs would have avoided or got me. I just needed one run that would get me through the blobs 4 times and that was the only time I got it.
