That's quite a scene esp when you couple it with The Kid Learns to Shoot. Does Kid realize he will be shot? I don't think so... I think he is ready to something like - I think I need some more lessons or maybe the gun fighting thing isn't what I thought it was going to be. There is almost nothing about Denver John Collins on the net ? What happened to him - he certainly didn't REALLY die in the scene?

Since posting this clip I've had a few emails from "The Kid" himself, Denver John Collins (who hadn't seen "Doc" for a good many years. He's alive and well, having moved to the other side of the camera after his brief movie acting career. A really nice guy with some happy memories of making the movie
