"Pre-Game Show" - U of Alabama's 400 strong member marching band practices their pre-game show in sunny Glendale/Pasadena/ Los Angeles, CA. 70 degrees and gorgeous skies above with multi-million dollar homes overlooking the practice field. How fitting that they're being serenaded by The Million Dollar Band's favorite tunes they play in Tuscaloosa! Roll Tide Roll!!
@parzifal40 I would also tell you to check out FAMU playing Malaguena from the 2009 Florida Classic BOTB and all the marches that the Marching 100 play...the musical ability is definitely there

have you heard them play marches? getting marches to sound as good as they play them with that many musicians simply shows quality

I do want to add that I enjoy the Famu band but it is very different in style from The Million Dollar Band....that does not change the hoochie-koochie moves of their majorettes, however. Would never fly at Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, or Southern Cal....

famu certainly does do a lot of ass-jiggling and hunching on the baton...just their style. I, also, love their Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral which they play in the stadium stands. They dance well but the music is way below par on the field....I have seen them, in person, and their musical ability is lacking....numbers seem to be more important that quality....carry on.
