I see. But Alpha 3 is a great game, and I liked the PAL box art (that also shows on the manual cover) over the US and Japan ones and I bought two copies anyway despite not owning a PSP as well (I collect things that are beautiful to my eyes at least).
People don't usually understand or appreciate the fact that sometimes the US and even the UK box and manual art of the same game are way better than the Japanese originals.

I think 3rd Strike was packaged w/Capcom VS Snk 2, and Hyper SF2 was released for Dreamcast (w/online play, not sure about this detail)

yeap sadly I dont own a PSP so thats out of the question.
and even then I find it hard playing Fighting games on there it's just too shakey. I couldnt hardly see what I was doing when I played my friends Alpha 3

Ah you mean the English version. Yeah it's sad.
Maybe the Darkstalkers series wasn't very popular in the West (they are about profit-taking anyway) unlike Japan and Asia hence the ommision from the big console but there is a PAL English language release if you have a PSP.

I know there's an Alpha collection, but it still would've been nice if they threw in an Alpha game into this collection... nonetheless, this is one of the best "games" I've ever owned.
