Well, they did a teleplay of Quatermass with David Tennant a couple of years ago. Aaaand, that other Terry Nation one...A for Andromeda, that was it.

Peter Cushing did well as an antagonist in Star Wars IV:A New Hope.

Whoever would have thought Professor Quatermass could make such a sinister antagonist? Or that such complex and convincing scenes could be performed for live cameras? I dread to imagine how today's TV actors would cope...
