I brought the album The Top because of the caterpillar song
And I didn't really like the other songs much ( except dressing up ) but after I listened to it a few times I love it a lot

Well he failed miserably in making The Top sound bad since it is a really rich album.

The Top is cool. Maybe The Cure would still make good albums like this if Robert Smith really was pissed off and didn`t care about the band. Maybe Lol tolhurst was kept for that reason. he may have realised that anger is a great fuel for creativity.
