"Adventures of the Road Runner" was actually an unsold TV pilot Chuck Jones produced for consideration on ABC's 1961-'62 schedule (after "THE BUGS BUNNY SHOW" was a success, the network wanted something "just like it" for the following season, yet they passed on "THE ROAD RUNNER SHOW"). The studio even managed to "convert" the new footage in "Adventures" into two short cartoons in 1965 {"Road Runner a Go-Go", "Zip Zip Hooray!"}, omitting Jones' name in the credits.
