  • Oh and sorry to be a bore but who is the woman who dances to Rain On The Roof in the feather trimmed frock?

  • That is Natalie Mosco, who also appeared in the original cast of Hair, among other things.

  • I was there at Papermill. Cast was Phyllis: Dee Hoty; Sally: Donna McKechnie; Ben: Laurence Guittard; Buddy: Tony Roberts; Carlotta: Ann Miller; Solange: Liliane Montevecchi; Hattie: Kaye Ballard; Stella: Phyllis Newman

  • this is the papermill production from some years back. the broadway production

at the belasco with blythe danner was much more moving. it pays to put actors in musicals. just check out bernadette peters doing "send in the clowns"

  • Lol. why didn't Donna wear a blonde wig? Sally is a blonde, it's even in the book!

  • interesting. looks like Rob Marshall referenced this for the opening of NINE the movie. I always say "if your gonna steal, steal from the BEST!" NINE is fabulous go see it!

  • this production was magnificent and i saw the original production on broadway. bravo papermill!
