Yeah, me too - I mean, look at all of the morals you can derive from this story:

1. Offer your two virgin (but married) daughters to be gang raped by a WHOLE CITY

2. Table salt may very well be comprised of a curious woman

3. Daughters should rape their fathers!!!!

That IS a GREAT story!

I have some favourite versus of the koran and bible, but of course it condones slavery, did you know that before moses was a prophet he killed somebody? Hence, contemplate then on your ignorance.

Just because the OT gives us a historical account of what happened, it does not mean that God approved of what people did. I can't tell you how many times Jesus denied the teachings and laws of Moses. "Moses told you this but I say this.." God allowed many things to happen to serve as consequences for actions. Even those who beleived in God were not perfect. They were, in fact, human and made mistakes accordingly as an example to us all.

This isn't speaking of Heavenly 'angels.' In the Hebrew, angel means messenger. These messengers were human, sent by God to give warning. Lot's wife didn't turn into an actual pillar of salt. She disobeyed and was rendered usless and spiritually dead. When salt loses its saltiness, it is no longer useful. The daughters were offered up knowing that they wouldn't be touched. The Bible containes stories because it is useful in helping us determine what NOT to do...like raping your father.

YOU'VE missed the entire point of the story atheist. its rather prolific ;-) its a pretty immature video actually. But Your attacking Lots intelligence first off. You've completely mis-interpreted many aspects of the story, partly to blame due to language perhaps and also you read the story with immorality in your mind from the start. It all makes sense if you only but knew it :-(

The JPS Tanakh in Genesis 19.15 reads "As dawn broke, the angels urged Lot on, saying,'Up, take your wife and your two remaining daughters, lest you be swept away by the iniquity of the city.'" Key word here is remaining. Meaning Lot had more than two daughters, the eldest of which were married to men in the city, the youngest two of which were unmarried.
