Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.3) running inside VirtualBox 4.1.8. Almost fully functional, except the display drivers (the resolution is stuck at 1024x768 and there's no graphics acceleration).

My system:
AMD Athlon II X4 645 (3.1 GHz quad-core)
8 GB of RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4670 (PCI Express)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

The virtual machine is allocated 2 of the CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM. It boots through Empire EFI, a bootloader that can boot OS X retail copies on non-apple Intel and AMD machines.

  • ca i have your Virtualbox seting ? thx

  • @pascal92i It runs through a bootloader called Empire EFI. I'm planning on making a tutorial later.

  • @doctoroctagonapus23 Hi I have the same setup running. Have you managed to install a boot loader? Right now I have to use EFI4AMD every time and I am trying to get a boot loader to work.

  • @freezesicle I tried chameleon but ended up making it unbootable. I still use empire EFI because you can fix the resolution problem (being stuck at 1024x768) using a command line.
