@sziszicsongi NCCU, or any other school in Taiwan is okay, not great. You can find Taiwanese friends and practice your speaking with them. Good luck!

The most serious problem with the program is its focus on essay writing. Homework and tests are mostly centered around essay writing. As a result, listening skills and speaking skills are neglected. I've had better Chinese programs that put a more balanced effort into speaking and listening. This program is okay for beginning students, intermediate and advanced students would do well to consider other programs.
