Ft. Oglethorpe Police Officer Caught Doing Things

Rossville, Georgia (WRCB) - A Ft. Ogelthorpe Police Officer has resigned from his position after he was caught, unknowingly, on surveillance video engaging in what appears to be sexual activity. An employee at Keith Heating and Air, in Rossville, GA, pulled into work to find a Ft. Ogelthorpe police officer and a woman parked behind the building. "She was pulling up her pants and he was readjusting his," says Robert Uhrmann.

The officer told Uhrmann the woman had her purse stolen and it had been found behind the business. "That put an alarm up," Uhrmann. The officer was outside of his jurisdiction and Uhrmann says acted suspiciously when Uhrmann suggested they take a look at the surveillance video. "He asked what angles the camera shot," he says.

On Monday morning, two days after Uhrmann initially saw the officer and unknown woman, he decided to watched the surveillance video. "Cracked up, you knew exactly what was going on," he says. The video clearly shows the woman taking down her pants in front of the officer. "It isn't right for law enforcement to be behind a business doing what was going on," Uhrmann says.

The officers name has not been released, but he has since resigned from his position.
