Mum Waits For Biff The Cat To Come Home

Have a look at this. I've uploaded it to show you another example of the things I have to put up with - even from my own mother. Here she is sitting waiting for me to come home. I admit I was slightly later than I'd intended, but I am a grown cat after all. It's no business of my Mum's what time I get in. Not a lot happens here but stick with it until the end - you'll see the sort of abuse I have to suffer.

Did you ever consider to fee your cat less food?! Not because of the stupid door thing...it is even to small for a regular cat, but it is simply not healthy to feed a cat that much food. They have too much fat in their blood stream and sooner or later it ill kill them.

Cats can only eat, what you give them.

If they SHOULD be hungry, they will hunt mice in the worst case.

Dont spoil them, even if you think it is sweet to them, it is dangerous.

Think of the cat's health please.

Thank you for your interest GreenBuddafly. Do you know, it's astonishing how many people have commented that my owners feed me too much? Actually, they don't. In my whole life I've only ever been fed the "Science Plan" dried food they get from the Vet's surgery. The reason I'm large is because I was neutered as a young cat, and like many others, I put on weight afterwards. By the way, the cat flap is a standard size and most of the time they open the front door for me to come in and out.

People need to stop saying that the owners are cruel. Perhaps Biff is neutered. I know that when we neutered our cat Peety he doubled in size. Most cats do gain weight when they get neutered. And if he isn't... Well he looks happy (: I'm sure his owners love him. I mean come on, if you hated your cat you would starve it, not stuff it??? I love that pudge!

Many cats have bad reactions to the carbohydrates and starches in dry food. Cats are carnivores and do not need these additives. As a vet. myself, I would recommend switching to Science Diet wet food.

Is that fat cat coming in just fat or pregnant? (hihi). I think the catflap door is ok for a normal-sized cat, but he/she is not exactly slim. That´s no cat silhouette, the belly is hanging. None of that famous cat elegance. ... one day it will stick up in the flap and not get out or in. Just imagine you´re not at home to help him out... or a dog is coming from outside. It should be put on diet for it´s own sake... please!!
