Here is what I use when i go fishing. Don't forget to video reply and comment on whats in your Tackle Box.


Tackle Box - Plano 737 series.

Rods and Reels:

1. Shimano FX Spinning Model FX- 60M 6'
Matched with a Quantum Snapshot SS 30 reel, lined with 10lb test.

2. Shakespeare LX III Combo pole SP60-2M 6' Med action.
Matched with a Shakespeare Cirrus Reel lined with 10lb. test.

3. Shakespeare Cirrus Graphite CGS 66 2M 6'6" Med. Action matched with Shakespeare LX III Reel 6lb.test

4. Shakespeare LX III Combo Graphite Composite SP60-2M 6' med action rod. Matched with a Shakespeare Long Cast reel 6lb test.

5. Shakespeare Tiger Combo WMTSP 70 2M 7' Med action Rod with 15lb test.

6. Zebco Hawg Seeker Rod / Reel Combo with built in Electronic Bite detector. HSBAS 702MHA 7'0 Med/Heavy action.
Reel spooled with 20lb. test.

7. Shakespeare Ugly Stik SPL1100 4'8" Ultra Light action combo rod and reel. Reel shakespeare 2500 lined with 4lb test.

@jurassicsushi thanks and no i didnt becuase we went to a lake where we only caught small bass or just pickerel. now everytime i go i bring a camera and a scale. we estimated that was the weight out of everyone that held it. i recently caught a really big pickerel out of there on a rooster tail so now its my favorite lake that we can go to.

I am trying my hardest to set something up so i can go fishing, but it's looking grim. I will keep on trying though. Sounds like you truly had an awesome day on the water. Use that same technique with the Torpedo's, cause I have also caught them near lillies back in NY using the torpedo's.

@MusicalCollections (con't from my last one) it ended up being a 5 1/2 lb. bass. later that day i caught 4 lb. bass on the same lure. it was a great day.

@jurassicsushi I have been fishing a lot but it's actually getting cooler by me too so i'm trying to get out as much as i can. and ya i totally agree with namebrands. i just pointed out who made it because it might narrow it down a little. i recetly had the best fishing day of my life. i casted out that jointed lure between some lily pads and something hit it right away. i set the hook and started reeling but it came off. then it hit again and when i finally got it in the boat it ended up being

@MusicalCollections That Y / G one will remind them of a frog more than likely, but yeah getting that sunfish colored one would be a great idea. I have used them in the past but i am beginning to realized the name brands don't always make the difference its the presentation and color patterns that make the lures work. Definitely use both though. Only way to find out what they want. Let me know how you do. It's finally getting cooler out by me so hopefully i will get to go out and fish soon.
