Colbert's speech was classic: United States and Mexico need to come to an agreement on immigration. Obviously, Colbert is in favor of immigration to work in the states and pick our crops because no American is willing to do it... Though he used satire, he obviously appealed to emotion, which showed that he stands strong on the subject. ViVA Chicanos!

During a hearing you check your cell phone! I'm trying to figure out who she is. I am hoping that she is no longer there. I don't care if this was a hoax or not. If you want to ignore Colbert's obvious garbage fine, but checking a cell phone is just rude. I work in a grocery store and we have to take away phones from cashiers because they abuse it and harm customer relations in doing so.

I know youtube comments are not the general place to find wisdom so I shouldn't be surprised, but I find it bizarre how many people in the comments think he is serious. If you don't know who Colbert is, remember this: he is being sarcastic, the ENTIRE time. He acts like a nut job right wing lunatic to show the flaw in the ideology and get his point through in satire. Remember this, look up satire in the dictionary if you need to, and watch it again. You will see it was brilliant.
