  • The bass player misses a couple of licks, but basically is right on top of it. He even puts in what fiddle player Benny Martin used to call the "boom-booms". Benny's complaint was, "They don't put no "boom-booms" in fiddle music anymore". Listen to his bass line and at the end of a phrase he'll put in the "boom-booms". Around 0:27, and 1:06. He does this a few more times. Really puts rhythm to the tune. If you keep your feet still on this one you is "daid"!! Great playing by all.

  • As fas as I know they played in standard tuning.

  • the lady fiddlers name is Deb Pearson........

  • Who's the lady fiddler?

  • Are they in standard tuning or have they cross-tuned their fiddles?

  • What brand of banjo is that the guy is playing? It's got a nice old timey sound.

  • Who's the lady fiddler? She's got the "family touch" on that fiddle.

  • It's Half Past Four!
