@homierub First off, one lousy bass solo doesnt make him the greatest. He couldnt touch McCartneys smooth and melodic basslines. Pete Townshend was great at one thing, the windmill while playing live, hovever compared to George Harrison, Mick taylor, and Ronnie Wood he gets blown out of the water. Daultry's voice was mediocre in the studio and sucked live where as McCartney, Lennon, Harrison, and Jagger were exceptional at both. The only thing the who had was keith moon...
