Nothing past 1991? Consider 1988 Ferrari F187- 88C

Did you consider: Lotus 25; Gurney Westlake '67; 1994 Ferrari T1, 1997 Williams F1

@purchville - I am looking for a really good picture to frame of the Leyton House March CG901. I saw a couple of great pics of the car.
1) With all the sparks flying for Titanium skid plates
2) 2:25
3) 2:37
4) 2:40
5) 2:45 - French Grand Prix - Paul Ricard
Can't find good pics of that Sea Blue color. Where can I go to purchase?
Please advise

All of them striking to look at. none of them beautiful.

I like your list and found most of my favourite cars, maybe not in your order. But I really, really miss the Williams FW11B from 1987. This was absolutely a wonderful car you had to adore and I would put it #1 anytime. Truly a masterpiece of art. Also one should mention the Ligier from 1979.

1990 was a great season and most of the best looking cars were made between 85 and 95.

Personally, I've never seen a more beautiful F1 car than the Arrows A2 from 1979. A pity it ran like a bit of a dog, and I don't think it ever raced with it's engine cover on due to over-heating problems, and I think was a revolutionary idea in it's day was ditched fairly quickly in favour of the more conventional, but still attractive A3.

@Cambridgegraham Nice choice! :) I agree...It does look revolutionary for it's day too. Thanks for the comment

YOU FORGOTTEN THE 91' McLAREN/HONDA
MrRoadkillergtr 9 months ago
@MrRoadkillergtr In my mind the '91 McLaren was based largely on the 1990 Ferrari, which was an ugly car...It was successful and competative though...at least at the beginning of that season

um excuse i like all of those but where is the freaking Mclaren MP4/8 of 1993 driven by senna cause andretti cant drive an F1

@ayrtonsenna2798 As below. I consider the '93 McLaren an attempted copy of the 92 Williams...albeit with a Ford engine. Senna wouldn't sign a 1 year deal with McLaren because he knew before the season that he had a vastly inferior car and no hope of a championship...he turned up race by race though. For a man to win 5 races in that thing...well, I don't think we've seen anything like it since to be honest. Has Ford or Cosworth been as successful in one driver's hands since??
