Riders Up - Channing Hill

Jockey Channing Hill is featured in the fourth installment of NYRA's newest video series "Riders Up".

Hill, a Nebraska native who was the leading apprentice in New York in 2005, has been riding almost exclusively on the NYRA circuit ever since. Currently 13th in the Belmont Park Spring/Summer Meet standings with 12 wins through the close of racing on Wednesday, Hill explains in the video how he has become a more confident, stronger rider over the course of his young career, and why New York has become his home. Trainer Mike Hushion and Todd Pletcher's assistant trainer Jonathan Thomas also share their thoughts on Hill's ground-saving style and development as a rider.
