Your second reason is the correct one. Your first is incorrect. Masks provide no filtration of contagion to the wearer. On the other hand masks provide significant reduction of contagion emitted by infected people. Japanese are wearing this when they are symptomatic of infection. They are protecting others from themselves. Hard for us Americans to get that.

well...they could be doctor ninjas ...which would be like doctors who someday decided to become ninjas or ninja doctors, which is the reverse...if you dunno how to differentiate them, they're like skins who don't like skins who don't like blacks. They wear red laces on their shoes. ^^

Happy it's back though it's a bit jumbled now. Maybe once you get your rhythm back it's not so .. scattered? Not sure the word.. just seems a bit too chaotic.
