Using TI launchpad (msp430 series) to show current temperature on chip with 8 LEDs.

  • @ehrichweiss The launchpad drives the power to the breadboard.

  • I just started coding on the launchpad(I've barely done more so far than hack on the blink example). How are you driving the LED's? Does the board have enough power to drive them?

    One of my first projects will be to make the launchpad control devices to stay within certain temp ranges. Another is going to be to set off an alarm when the temp drops below a set level, because my digital probe thermometer will go off if it goes ABOVE a temp but no alarm for getting cold.
