@mastersedan By "heart of these cars" I mean the engine, and by "hardly a chevy" I mean the thing doesn't have a motor/drivetrain made by GM, or a suspension made by GM, or fuckin' anything original....get it? Sure on paper it's a 66 nova but it's got no chevy parts. The reason I commented to you was because you sound like an asshole chevy-lover; "everyone knows the fastest street cars are made by CHEVY". The fastest street cars are made in the U.S.A. is my point, not chevy alone.

@DeAdiSSu3 Uh, your post doesn't make any sense to me. Why are you talking about 6 second club? These cars aren't pro mods. We're watching vids of 8 second mopars. ???? My reply is simply stating that the WORLDS FASTEST STREET CAR IS CURRENTLY A CHEVY. see hot rod mag for details or google it. Oh and yes, please school me on the heart of these types of cars, building them for 30 plus years hasn't given me the knowledge you seem to have on them.

@mastersedan Anything that runs 6's can hardly be called a "chevy"...at the heart of these types of cars is a forged, aftermarket twin turbo v8. The big 3 (Ford, Chevy, Mopar) have all have cars roaming around the streets with 1,000+ horsepower. some of them have over 2,000 horsepower. Street-legal.
