Great song! But why the abrupt ending?

I'm actually okay with "off-key," for what I suppose are academic reasons. There is a bevy of singers who sing completely on key, to whom I'd really rather not listen. I'm more fixated on the finished product, musical ideas. Most singer-songwriters/artists I like the best wouldn't last five minutes on AMERICAN IDOL...

i'm neither brain-dead nor tone-deaf...the simple fact is that she is quite often, nearly consistently, off key. i agree that she's innovative, talented, et cetera, and am a fan, but my original comment stands.

You're brain-dead or tone-deaf (or both);
Listen to her albums and all her work, Erin has an incredible voice (range, pitch, power) as well as being an innovative talent capable of creating her own unique style and just plain good music.
