Time-lapse video of animals around cold-water coral reefs within the Arctic Circle - Northern Norway. Animals are attracted into the field of view by mackerel bait and a photo is taken every minute.

Here we are viewing 5 photos a second, so each second represents 5 minutes on the seabed.
This was a shorter deployment as the cold water reduced the battery life (we had snow and ice on deck!)

This was taken by the Biogenic Reef Ichthyofauna Lander (BRIL) owned and operated by the University of Aberdeen's Oceanlab® for the CoralFISH project.
