Thought I would try something different. I close mic'd the fender pro with a sennheiser 690 and a Rode NT1A condensor mic for a room ambient feel. I recorded the vid and the audio at the same time and imported the vid into sony acid 6. No pedals were used, just the 58 and the pro cranked on about 5. The mic's were connected to
a usb Tascom 144 interface.

  • Marvellous!

  • Thanks for the kind words 59er. Ive been in a bit of a slump for sometime now but hope to get back to it asap. Theres more Id like to share.

  • Nice tone and playing Is that a genuine Gibson?

  • @mrskint55 yes it is a genuine 2002 historic R8 Les Paul, thanks for watching.

  • IMO Peter Green's original played on a strat incorporates the fragile nature of what the song is all about and I feel as though you achieve some of the same in a different and a very thoughtful manner. Very nice on your part. If I might ask about the backing track,..do you know if it's available?

  • @fferrarajr thanks for the comment...

  • I keep coming back to hear this. Such a smooth silky style, effortless bends and a great tone. The overall feeling of this tune is what it's all about. Sounds like a good man done bad

  • I just want to thank you for all the great work you have done, and are willing to share with us the equipment you use and the settings, but your personal take a piece of music that you have worked out, curtain types of pickups, or amps, or pedals, it all helps us to be better players, and save time and money, in that ever searching tone quest. Thanks Johnny NoShow
