  • part 2...

The great session piano player Hargus "Pig" Robbins, who was completely blind by four yrs old is playing the piano on Waylon's 'I Tremble For You'. Hargus's first 'big' recording session was when a 'drunken' George Jones took up to 80 takes to record 'White Lightning' in 1959.

(Buddy Killen producer/publisher was on the bass and threatened to beat up Jones). 'White Lightning' was written by George's good friend J. P. Richardson(The Big Bopper)and Waylon...you know the rest..srj

  • 'I Tremble For You' written by Johnny Cash and Lew DeWitt of The Statler Brothers. Waylon recorded it in Feb 1966, album released Aug 1967. Johnny Cash recorded Oct 1967. He also sang it on the 3rd 'The Johnny Cash Show' TV show Jun 21 1969...When a 'HOT' 22 yr old Linda Ronstadt bare foot, in a short dress and panty-less sang 'The Only Mama That'll Walk the Line' And when June Carter freaked out "Somebody get down the street and buy her some bloomers, she’s out there showing herself."..srj
