I have Dogwaffle Pro 4. When the program opens up I cannot locate the tools panel. Any help would be appreciated. I want to create some text art.

@sendingforth Maybe you changed the screen resolution and it remembered the postion off screen after changing it back? Or maybe it is moved down to near the bottom of the screen and the WIndows taskbar is "allways on top" and hiding yout toolbar?
Try to "Kill registry settings" in the Prefs menu in File-> Prefs or File->Settings - that will reset the floating panels status and default positions

in PD Pro 4 and other version (PD 1.2 free, PD 2, pd pro 3, pd artist) you can find it ion the 'Window' menu. Look for the submenu item 'Optipustics', or keyboard shortcut 'i'

glad you like it. PD Particles has great particle brushes for 19 dlrs, pd pro 4.1 has the best including force fields to affect the particle trail paths. (image based FF)

If you have any version of Dogwaffle you also have some level of particle brushes, it's also called Optipustics. Look for the optipustics panel in the Window menu. Keyboard shortcut 'i'
There are some tutorials on making animations at thebest3d-dot-com_slash_dogwaffle_slash_tuts
Look for the tutorial collection #1 and/or #2. The #2 is available for free as a web edition. The #1 has several chapter for free viewing.
