We moved to Cedar Lake in 1941, ended up living at Surprise Park, it was a good time to live at the Lake..The Roller Rink was the place to be on night...

I used to visit family friends at Cedar Lake in the early 1940s. These photos appear to be from that era/ The diesel locomotive was 2949 or later. Great memories. Thanks.

Wow, thank you SO much! This is awesome. Our town sure isn't what it used to be. :( I hope we get it back to being the "fun town". I love to see these old pics. I can't even imagine how great this town was. I still love CL and take pride in it. Thanks again!!

Great stuff but I grew up on the north side saw some of it in there. One day I'll play the 1930's movie of the north side so we get our side...lol
