    Hip hop on dulcimer or mandolin would sound terrible???

    Oh I guess you would have also invented all the modern muscial instruments that go with hip hop. And all of the accessories needed to make these modern instruments work.

    All of these inventions In the 1800s where electricity generation was primitve at best.
