@ErikkChattman, I don't think she was actually 12 when she was having sex, or 17. I heard her say she didn't have sex until she was in college, at age 19. I think this song has meaning on other levels, not just sex. Look deeper young man. I'm thinking she was noticing patterns from when she was a child repeating in her her life as an adult.

@dirtyje, Katie Perry isn't all that bad. She's closer to Liz than Lavigne...
actually I know little to nothing on the subject of La'what's'er name?
But Katie impressed me as a singer-sonwriter. I may be grasping at straws here,
but I have a soft spot for Perry. (Oh no, I just listened to "Wish You Were Here" and "Smile" and I'm so disturbed I might shed a tear. Avril isn't working for me in the least bit, except for maybe her looks.)
