iERA UK won't accept this as a video response, this is the video to which I am responding:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T5Pm7qLH50

World famous embryologist PZ Myers shows a 100% verifiable error in the Quran, thus proving it is a man made book.

Thanks to robbegx for the "FA" tip!

It seems just about everyone else beat me to it but, oh well, it was fun to make :)

  • Use the same dictionary and pause the video at 2.57

and just study the bottom lines

It states..'And sometimes in the sense of و (And)

Avoid being intellectual dishonest . Its not good for rationality :)

  • @mianbilal786

Except that it gives this very verse as the perfect example of when FA means in sequence with delay.

  • @TheRationalizer

Who said you that this translation, what William Edward did in translating the verse, is the last and final and we can not take any other meaning of FA ?

There are plenty of meanings of the same word in Arabic. And they are meanings of 'FA' but not 'Ha'.

my brother, utilize the same time in understanding Arabic and Islam.

  • @mianbilal786

You seem to miss the point entirely.

1: iERA claim absolute order, no question

    2: They switch to simultaneous

3: They use the wrong word

4: The dictionary they quote in a follow up video to prove their point actually proves the exact opposite of what they say.

This is about iERA making fools of themselves, and this being impossible to be claimed as a miracle, it is NOT about disproving the Quran.

  • In defense of the Muslim side, Adnan Rashid and Tzortsis aren't as credible as they may ostensibly seem in certain fields. I was expecting videos like this to come up as a method of debunking and ridiculing them. I would say that they pretty much brought this upon themselves.

  • @ISMASHYOUBRO

Anyone that claims Quran miracles deserve this, because they are all ridiculous and false.

  • ''Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah , the best of creators.'' Quran 23:12-14. So this video actually proves embryology in the quran, the quran did not mention that the bones were first in development. LOL!

  • @TheRationalizer Wasn't this information well know around the 2nd century by Greek doctors?

  • @halflifeproductionz Err...there is no such thing as bowing before a Caliph. That goes against the fundamentals of Islamic monotheism itself... lol. The most successful era of the Muslims was under the Caliphate during the Islamic Golden Age. It's faaar from a dictatorship. Look at the rule of Umar ibn Al-Khattab(RA).

Just wondering though, are you a Muslim? Atheist? Agnostic? Etc.

  • @ISMASHYOUBRO yes i'm talking about the caliphate, where everyone must give bay'ah to a caliph before bowing before him. I think democracy is the best system of government unfortunately i see some muslims still think 7th century dictatorships will somehow bring peace. *sigh*

  • @ISMASHYOUBRO apologetics*

  • @halflifeproductionz Exactly. The Qur'an and the Ahadith pertain to an entire lifestyle for a Muslim. Turning them into a science textbook only undermines the true intent of the scriptures. And theocratic dictatorship? Are you referring to the restoration of the Khilafa(Caliphate)?

  • @ISMASHYOUBRO i think it truly undermines the project for peace when hamza tzortzis wants to go around preaching islam as a science textbook. I totally accept the argument of god from faith. Faith is important for a number of reasons for many issues its not so difficult to add god to that list. Hamza also wants to establish a theocratic dictatorship in the muslim world which i think will cause even more suffering in the muslim world. Tis' truly be a mad world!

  • @halflifeproductionz Yes, yes I do. This form of apologetic is pretty stupid and won't get anyone anywhere. Look at the literary brilliance of the book, look at the life of the Prophet, examine the Sunnah and Hadith in their context. You don't need to formulate 'scientific miracles' out of ayaats that are general or straightforward about the signs of Allah.

  • @TheRationalizer Not really. There are a variety of miracles that are not related to science. Namely the literary power, and brilliance of the Qur'an.
