This is another LM386-based Little Gem derivative. This one has a 10u cap between 1 and 8 on the IC, and uses a 330u cap in place of the 220u cap to capture the low end of my mandolin and violin.
This time, I'm playing it through a tin can. I don't have the volume knob hooked up yet, and the audio input jack is just dangling there. But it sounds the way it's going to sound when it's fully assembled.
Easy. You put an amplifier circuit into it, strap a speaker to it, and an input jack for your instrument. It doesn't have to be in a can. It could be in anything.
