God passed over sins because God never said that man should punish sin in the first place! This is what Moses said!
You see God just simply said, "Thou shalt not murder" and "Thou shalt not commit adultery"! Then Moses wrote the Torah part of which is Leviticus, Numbers and such which are in essence constitutional law and statutes! So legally a person who committed such sin was to be put to death under the law of Moses. But God never himself said the we should stone anyone!

ok im only 12 so my comment i said i didnt put much thought into what i should have said is the only right english version is the king james version not the niv witch my preacher calls the not inspired version or any other english printed bible is not correct they eithr have something taken out or added to them im sorry i didnt post these comments to fight or start a fight i just wanted to give the facts.thanks for your time though and srry if i wasted your time i wont any more ill leave u alone

im sorry but you are reading the wrong bible the king james bible is the one and only bible

The King James didn't come out until 1611. If indeed it is the one and only Bible, then the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts which it is based on are not the Bible, all other translations before it in Latin, French, German, etc. are also not the Bible, and the Bible as it was originally penned by the authors themselves are not the Bible.
Which of course creates all kinds of theological problems.

@SharkN5I50 The King James Version isn't the only "right" translation available today. In fact, I would say the English Standard Version, the New American Standard Bible, and even the New King James Version are all more updated, more accurate translations. I praise God for the KJV. It gave English readers a copy of the Scriptures in their own language to read and study for several centuries. But now that we have a plethora of solid translations available, there's no need to read only the KJV.
