Song: ∆MAX
Artist: DM Ashura
Speed: 100-573 BPM
Difficulty: 10, according to Ashura
Mods Used: 1.5x

So DM Ashura sent me a message and personally requested videos of what he thought the steps should be for ∆MAX.

This chart doesn't look too bad. It looks a lot more fun on pad than the original steps. They also look more balanced than the original, as well, with an easier intro, but with more steps during the speedier parts.

It doesn't have the Full Combo "novelty number" that the original steps had, but honestly, after seeing so many StepMania files play the "novelty number" game, seeing it does get a little old.

  • 513 + 60 more for if jumps counted as 2 = 573

  • Yeah, TonyTheTGR pointed that out earlier.

I probably never would've caught it, though. I have the attention span of a goldfish.

  • That looks like the original stepchart for Delta MAX , the ORIGINAL not the UNI3 version.

  • I wouldn't doubt it. If I already had steps for my own song in mind, I imagine I'd probably want them to be transferred over to the official games, too.

  • It's like... MAX 300 (Wild Rush Mix) XD

  • Absolute tune!! And good steps for the pad! XD

  • What do you mean another Max song?

This Max is OLD. Made I think in '06?

    I love these steps better.

  • god...another max? when is it going 2 end?

  • Ya this is definitely the DDR Forever version, still an awesome chart.

  • It has 60 jumps in it. So if they judged jumps = 2 instead of 1, you'd still get that "novelty ending." ;)

Not only that, it is more realistically fun.
