Dear Mary
In the year 2000 in Sydney, the 5 olympic rings united for the 25th time.

Australia to me was an unknown and unexplored continent,
that is symbolized in the fifth ring.

I found myself on unknown territory amongst happy and joyous strangers.

My only luggage at the time was my high expectations to my stay,
along with a certain amount of selfconfidence.


Nearly 200 years earlier, another Dane by the name Jørgen Jürgensen, had arrived
under different circumstances, but also with great expectations and self-confidence

But, he quickly left Sydney and sailed to Tasmania,
your country, a state in Australia.

Here he made himself a reputation, that ended up taking his life from him.

I was only 2 days old in Australia and our destiny was sealed.

Yet still unconscious to the both of us, but that ray you have about you,
shone clearly and sharply at me, ever since our first meeting.

Since then I've been blinded by it at and addicted to it.

Up until then my life had been a strive to create more independency
without limiting my space.

My opportunites were many, and my world often lonely...

But both continued to strengthen in time and space,
because curiosity and optimisim about the destiny drove me forward.

Then YOU travelled into my world, and since then many things have already happened.

Now there are two worlds, yes, probably even more.

It's those we now will be exploring together. Side by side.

In light and darkness. Summer, fall, winter, spring, always.

The joy and the strength you give me, is like the sun in the daytime,
that with its rays defeat all doubt and darkness.

Like the moon in the night you shine awake with a beautiful glow of mildness,
that take away the wickedness from the symbols of darkness

I often chose to see the light of a new day as a symbol of the rebirth of the untouched, inexperienced and innocent.

Maybe a bit naïve, but it's wonderful to pretend that everything starts a new.

A new world is born again, from the light of the new day.

This moment is you and me -- new together, young together, innocent together,
in love together...Just together...

You give me safety, joy and happiness.

I am close to bubbling over of curiosity about
what the closets and farthest away future will bring us,
and you will have the answers. But I will try to control my self,
because two questions have already been answered by the both of us with "I do".

Those are answers that will count for us for ever.

And if we need light in the search for our answers,
we only have to look up to the sky.

Therein eternity lies,
that can also show us the way that sometimes is hard to find.

I love you Mary. Come, let us go. Come, let us see.

Through a thousand worlds waits weightless love.

DREAMS can come true!! A beautiful fairytale of the real -and- royal world... when an unknown Belle in an aussie bar meets her danish Prince Charming and, years later, they become one lovely and HAPPY royal couple and parents!! Their being "two"gether was meant to be ... and the 'Fairy Godmother' looking over them were the OLYMPIC GAMES!! Best of luck from GREECE!!

Er imod monarkiet. Dermed ikke sagt at jeg ønsker de to unge mennesker et godt liv sammen. Men monarkiet er som en tung byrde, at have om foden, selvom der er en masse fordele ved det rent økonomisk.
