@poolrug Andy didn't throw her away, she left him due to her desire to be put under contract with Bob Dylan and his manager Al Grossman. It was her choice, but she was getting angry with Andy because he couldn't/wouldn't pay her for her parts in his movies.

God I want to argue the point that Edie is NOT LIKE PARIS HILTON but I just don't have the energy to explain how and why Paris is a fake wannabe copy of Edie. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions though so whatever.

just a poor spoilt little rich girl.
with a pretty face, a battered paris hilton

That is the worst make up I have ever seen, now... Why did she became famous for? For being thin?

Such beauty and innocence. Didn't Andy wind up throwing her away like trash? Heart breaking, Edie didn't deserve that,

Her patience was commendable.
.. thank you that was beautiful

@ilolly577 Thank you, you nailed that one totally on the head! Agree totally! That's stupid obsessive liars on youtube, for ya'!

@Redbirdgirl88 Why of course RBG88, since you weren't there you can have whatever opinion you like and you are welcome to it. Whether it is entirely wrong or not does not seem to matter...except to those of us who value facts and truths. Why idealize an anorexic commodity? Moths worship flames.

She was really beautiful and friendly! I would like to meet her!
@The5thAngelRose Well, 'as stated earlier', I find it interesting that you say you've no interest in her... yet you keep coming back, taking your precious time circulating through videos OF HER. It's a little pathetic, don't you think? Oh no, of course you don't. Edie is the pathetic one here. Yea.. right... Instead you really should be examining yourself & why you're deeply concerned with people who simply don't give a fuck. Are you really getting anything out of it? Go troll elsewhere please.

I really love how you've compared footage of Edie speaking from the 60's to the 70's. It's just phenomenal how much she changed, both physically and psychologically, I can never wrap my head around it. She has to be the ONLY person I've ever seen who looked more beautiful after being ravaged by drugs. In a way, it makes Ciao! Manhattan sadder to me because there is still the sense of what Edie had to offer.
