I also think alot of fans have trouble getting into indy technical wrestling because it IS fixed, and many don't want to see two guys with no look and no character (or well known character that they are familiar with) get it on in a fake match. If they're going to watch something fake, they want the entertainment thrown in there too ALONG with the wrestling. Indy technical wrestling obviously has its niche, but it will never replace mainstream wrestling and what the channel surfers want to see

In mainstream wrestling it's not about working the leg and never really has been about that. If a guy has that 'it' factor like Warrior, Rock, Austin, Goldberg ect when all those guys came into their own, none of the other stuff like executing a crisp dropkick matters. They individually had something that just clicked with the fans and if you lined up 10 other guys around each of them with the same look and gimmick, those other guys aren't guaranteed to have 'it' like the guys mentioned

I agree with you man! It's funny in a way, I usually compare the politics of wrestling to everyday life in some way & it tends to make a lot of sense. As long as you can sell an "Idea", you're in the Black. But most of the time That "Black" will not cater to the majority.
