@scurvybill yeah in the words of the immortal martin luther king jr. "a person shouldn't be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." so yeah, i wouldn't have voted for obama just because he'd be the first black president but because he would be a good president but he's not and he just happens to be black
interesting observations charvelguy. I don't think I would have ever picked up on anything if you hadn't mentioned it, but when I watched for it I saw both mistakes. Even the pros have their glitches.
oh oh, did you see that look Henley made @ the keys player? He screwed up, almost blowing it @ 3:33 - 3:34. Somebody was jamming into it. Had he not made the transitional change to chorus, it could have been disaster. Oh, the blonde on the left @ 3:40, & 3:47 hmm, tasty. The sound guy needed a cue too, he missed the beginning of the outro solo- which that guy transisioned it really quite well on a LP considering it wasn't originally performed that way..
For those who make the connection with the song and Clinton's "laundry", this was an MTV event, as you can see at the top 0:17-0:19 it says "MTV 1993 Rock and Roll."
Would Jeff Porcaro, who played drums on the 1982 original recording, have been present for this performance had he not been lost to us such a short time before?
