I know he is a great pilot and he made a great decision, but he is not the first pilot to bring down a crippled plane in one piece either. Camping in front of his house?

Captain Sully's political affiliations are not in line with mine, and I'm not sure that seeking public office would be making use of his best gifts.
No pun intended, but I would not wants Capt. Sullenberger's or Capt. Skyles to become sullied by political backroom dealings.

If Morning Shows are anything like the Late Night show they all pay their guests Actors Guild Minimum - the pay is IIRC a legal requirement for the appearance, but the Networks agreed long ago to make it the minimum for all to a) not start a "competition" by paying guests more for an appearance, and b) because most times the guests are getting promotion for something in return for appearing.

I don't know his party affiliation...but even if it turned out contrary to mine, I'd sure SERIOUSLY consider voting for him.

He is SOOO together. No surprise there after the way that turned out.
