Why doesnt Habitats for Humanity just fix up these houses instead of totally destroying good neighborhoods where nobody wants them and the crime rate and noise goes up after it is done?

I grew up in that neighborhood! I actually lived 3 doors down from that duplex on peck i use to go to that store evreyday it was called edens. And the carryout on page use to be barbs store i lived in that 2 block radius from 1987 until 2001

I live next door to the door to the duplex in the beginning of the video on the corner of peck and chestnut it has been vacant since 2001 i have contacted the city about it numerous times.Even when my 7 year old son found a full heroin needle on the porch.They pulled up bulldozers to tear it down 1 day but said it was 2 close to my house but not to worry because the structure was safe what a joke and also if u look all the fields u go past is where houses once was

you should do one on the south end. that was my old stomping grounds. by the corner of western and broadway. i left the state to better horizons.

The city needs to tear down the bad houses and start over.
