1,000 yards 1942 91/30 Russian Mosin-Nagant (P/U) sniper rifle

Ive glass bedded the receiver, removed the upper hand guard, floated the barrel, and removed both front and rear iron sights.

Additionally, Ive researched tons of various loads for this, and found that the 200 grain match (reloads in .308 diameter bullets) with 50.4 grains of IMR 4350 seem to be the best combination for my 91/30's1,000 yards 1942 91/30 Russian Mosin-Nagant (P/U) sniper rifle

after breaking my neck twice i have significant nerve damage in both hands, sometime to the point where i cannot feel anything with my index finger or thumb whatsoever. this is why im using my middle finger here in this clip, so i can at least feel the F-ing trigger.

You've revealed yourself dear sir. If you could make a shot like that, you would know a 30-06 is more powerful than 308. Plus the range you're talking about is a shot few could make. Including some of the best snipers in history. To achieve less than a 4" group over or even at a thousand yards, is beyond what most snipers with modern scopes and ammo can come close to.

Did you experience any barrel whip since you removed the upper guard? I was talking to a gunsmith and i told him i thought about doing this and he freaked out telling me it would whip back and snap the stock. Lmao!

My father shoots rifles with his middle finger. I asked him why, and he said it's just more comfortable for him. It really doesn't matter what finger you use, it's about accuracy.

Nice shootin'. I hope to get my first Mosin in the coming weeks, and I'll be damn happy if I can get lead on target at 60% of your distance.

Nice shots! What grain where you using? Do you know anything about the silver bear 203 gr rounds and the difference between the flight pattern of the 148 fmj.
