The anti Ryu-ken Character

that last song motivates me to do my homework for some reason lol

I was going to make a comment about the 3 people who disliked this video being those who got beat against this guy but even more important...why aren't there any combos with Rolling Izuna Drop ?
-
I think calling this video "nice" is very simple. You can realise how insane, almost impossible, these combos are if you play Vega. I would like shoto guys to try these :D

Love the combo into ultra 1 at 8:32. Good stuff.

Nice vid and thx for posting it. My question is were you using the no block option or auto block option throuhgout the video?
Also, how do you link cr. mk with cr. mk b/c when i try it the second cr. mk get blocked?
thanks

@planetali1
Autoblock was used for everything except the meaty combos (when the opponent gets hit as they get up). The combo counter is shown after each combo anyway for proof. To link cr.MK into cr.MK, you must turn on "COUNTERHIT". Counterhits occur when you hit the opponent out of their move on startup, and grants extra hitstun aka comboability. Counterhits give you +1 hitstun for light normals and +3 for all other attacks (only on the first hit).

any trick to the FADC?
KatzuyaSagara 10 months ago
@KatzuyaSagara
Yes, hold MP+MK and press forward-forward (this is the FADC) right BEFORE the last hit of the RollingCrystalFlash. This is the best time to do it because it makes the FADC come out on the first frame possible and gives you extra time to charge while the FADC is coming out. After the FADC, you have a one-frame window to land a 4-frame move. You can do cr.LP to start the next part of the combo or plink a st.HK which is a little easier. The timing is weird and VERY strict.

@M2clips how do you do cosmic heel into scarlet terror ? Is there a trick to it ?
annieiskoo 10 months ago
@annieiskoo
No tricks, you just have to practice buffering the charge. What I mean is, the instant you press df.HK for the CosmicHeel, you immediately need to start charging downback before your foot even hits the guy. Then, just before they hit the ground, unleash the ScarletTerror. It's a little weird to get used to, but over time it will become easier and easier until you almost never miss. It is one of the best punishing combos from the ground (no jump-in needed), and you will use it a lot.
