  • for the Marillion and Fish hardcore fans:

with comparison to his others solo albums : Internal exile and Vigil in the Wilderness- is it good?! I wan't to buy this one but I still in dilema......anyone?

  • Well I am not the right guy to ask. I have almost all Fish his albums and I think each album is more than worth buying it. But if I must choose between Internal exile and Vigil in the Wilderness of Mirrors? I would certainly choose Vigil.

    Marillion + Porcupine Tree.

    What else?

  • FISH and Steven Wilson should work together again!

  • @Queenesy Oh man! Vigil has the greatest live sound since Peter Gabriel "plays live". I like to turn it up for full effect. That's just the quality of the recording! The music really impressed me as I realized how big a role he played in Marillion. I can't quite get with post fish Marillion.

  • stunning song...

  • this is a stunning song...

  • I frikking love this album! same as 13th star!

  • I saw Fish perform this in Columbus, Ohio in 1997, he opened with this and it set the tone for the rest of the show. He was awesome. Two years later in Atlanta he was just as great but unfortunately in 2009 at Lemington Spa his voice was not up to par but he put on two shows on two nights that were memorable. The man is a legend.

  • Sunsets on Empire is a true masterpiece ...it doesnt have a bad song and many excellent ones ( The perception , Tara , Which colour is God , Worm in a bottle , Brother 52 , Sunsets )

  • Does Steven Wilson do the solo in this song? I always wondered who did the solo before I knew that it was a collaboration effort and if it is that is really cool :P Wilson gets a lot of respect and deservedly so.

  • @BrokedDownPalace first, thanx for the reply ;-)

I havn't bought this album yet, but I did buy 2 other of Fish's albums - Vigil and Internal exile! and im ery pleased so far. its been a long time plan. maybe for my next b-day ill make another purchase.

  • @Queenesy im 2 years late on this one, so i do hope you've bought the album, but this is hands down my favorite fish/marilliion album. its one of my fav. albums of all time. but then again, thats my opinion im not a huge marillion fan

  • Some of the baddest opening lines on an album EVER!
