Lady Gaga smokes pot - Mexicans die in drug war

Recently in a 60 Minutes interview on CBS, Lady Gaga stated that she smokes pot while writing her songs. Wow what a revelation, all those #1 Hit's are a result of drugs. Nothing NEW, there, the Beatles and other musicians in the 60's already crossed that road.

What is NEW is that in those 'innocent times' thousands of people weren't being killed to supply the USA's insatiable appetite for drugs.

So Lady Gaga, where does your pot come from? Homegrown? Imported from Canada - Hells Angels and other crime syndicates control much of the market, or from Mexico? 53 murdered over three days in Ciudad Juarez

I am not picking on Lady Gaga, once upon a time I used to smoke the funny tobaccie, Willie Nelson does as do ----

53 murdered over three days in Ciudad Juarez

The numbers coming out of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, continue to be staggering.

The El Paso Times reported that between Thursday and Saturday, 53 people were murdered in that cartel-war ravaged city.

Despite the problems Mexico looks so much more cheery and free compared to drab Canada. What is it about Canada that grey and variations on institutional browns are the preferred colours? No wonder so many depressed people here.

@anarchore lol We had to do some running around yesterday and for some reason, the Kaleidoscopic of greys, browns,dull yellows really struck me. It truly was drab and ugly. As for depression: news reported a couple weeks back, that 1 in 5 Canadians suffer depression.

Drug related gang violence isn't a product of drug consumption at all, it's a product of drug prohibition.

If you really want someone to be mad at after seeing these scenes of violent drug-gang fueled violence in Mexico, blame the people that made drugs illegal. The people who believe that a kid who gets killed in a gang shooting, or the taxi drivers that are being murdered in mexico, are necessary byproduct of a system keeping the citizens from getting high. (which isn't working anyway)

First of all, Lady Gaga is a celebrity and probably smokes celebrity grade weed.

Which almost certainly didn't come form Mexico. It probably came from Canada or was domestically grown.

So that whole point is stupid.

Secondly, marijuana consumption existed LONG before the violent Mexican drug cartels. Just like alcohol prohibition, marijuana prohibition drives the drug into a massively profitable black market. Which creates crime and criminals.

It's just not Mexico that is a drug war. It's everywhere... What was so stupid about this video is all their doing is driving around and filming it. I didn't see anybody dealing going on and I didn't see anything that showed that there was any kind of war or anything. I can just drive around and film this and say something. It wasn't related. And then Lady Ga Ga mentioned......so what if she smokes pot. What dose that have to do with Mexico....LOL
