The type of music they play is a subject of debate for critics and fans of theirs but their frontman declares that they're their own style of music called "Love Metal". But it's definitely not metal, sounds closer to alternative rock with gothic influence. They're wannabes.

And yeah, I've never heard of MCR called metal before myself, I don't know where the fuck these kids got that idea...

@TheAndreotto Because the child who made this video doesn't like them. Typical metal elitist logic is that metal HAS to be good to be metal. If there's a general consensus that a metal band sucks, they're automatically "not metal". DragonForce isn't the only band;I've also seen it for Cradle of Filth, Arch Enemy, Lamb of God, Dimmu Borgir, Children of Bodom, and of course "New" Metallica.

this list is complete shit, yea ill admit u have a bunch of shit bands on here, but why would u put trivium on the not metal, they are awesome, and linkin park never even tried to be metal so they cant be on here, same with limp bizkit, and i personally like slipknot, im going to be easy on the insults and say that u should broaden ur musical taste, and not conform to the mainstream so much
