Not everyone is like that you just have met the worst i guess, but try to find people that have values or just see their relation with their family and you will realize their true feelings.

Why does this woman expose herself to this embarrassement! She lets us see how her son shouts at her! and a prostitute put her down. Strange culture!

it's no a documentary, just seems like one because kiarostami didn't had a real script, more a storyline, & gave the actors a lot of artistic freedom. besides, he did not have a camera man or something like that. but it's a normal movie,

I thought so too at first and its diffcult to tell with it being so dark and her high pitch voice. But at about 5:55 you can see her face for a moment. I don't think it is the same person after all.
