This is a recording from our 2003 cd of the choir I was in from 2001 to 2008 (I joined when I was 9!), White Voices Choir of Santo Domingo, directed by Pilar Fabregat and having Vicente Meseguer at piano.
This choir has a special place in my heart, as it is where I learned many things about singing and performing live, alongside getting in touch with classical music by first time. We gave lots of concerts around Spain, recorded 2 cds and got broadcasted in national radio once (alongside a mass we were singing in) and in local tvs several times. We and also got several prizes in many contests. Our repertoire included songs from many classical masters, mainly religious music (which I love, now ask me why :)), and also some modern pieces in our latest years.
Sadly, the choir as it was disappeared some years ago, but I have these recordings with me as a beautiful memory of my school days in the choir (it still exists with the same name, but it's all different people now). :)
I just did not want this to fade in time, so I thought today was a great day to upload this Christmas Carol sung by us (I was 12 by the time we recorded this, haha).
I also have other recordings from this same cd which I will maybe upload someday. :)
Doesn't it feel like being in heaven? :)
