Hi like your vids Factory put a coating on the steel to prevent flash rust.
You are removing the coating. It should be put back quickly. Also on the patch panel. AFTERBLAST works well. If you rented a SODA BLASTER it would not remove the orig. coating and saved time,metal,and the coating.
I know you are showing a way anyone can do it with tools most have, just wanted to offer a diffrent way.
Weldable primer on the panel and both sides of the patch before bending is a real good ideal also.

Did you get your book completed yet? I buy, repair and resell old Gravely Gardening equipment, and much of it is somewhat to very rusted, and your process of removing rust if very intriguing to me,

Thanks for the video ref. to the tank full of water and molases.. I never would have imagined that a feat like this would get the results you got after the preasurized water treatment as a finishing touch. Gilbert-arkinnovators@gmail.co

What size angle grinder and stripping disc should I get? I'm planning on stripping my entire '59 VW Single Cab soon. Thanks for the great video by the way.

@BossGuitars ....... I use a 5" angle grinder, and find it to be better than the 4" . Due to the slightly larger disc's
