  • without a doubt, one of the most powerful scenes depicting miscarriage. He is so totally distrught, tears, anguish, such emotion. and for Anna the same. Let all actors take a lesson from two great performers on how to deliver an emotional scene. Absolute tear jerker....

  • in all the Soap Opera miscrraige scenes, this si the first to give me that heavy chested feeling...and that wetness in the eye. Why? Because the guy was truly distraught, and not afraid to cry.

    Masterpiece.

  • god how can GH have gone from this awesome acting to the shit it has become today !!

  • Love it, love it, love it. What a performance by DnA, this is one the most dramatic scenes ever, they do have magic and they really like each other and trust one anothers abilities to pull off this scene. Job well done; Ian and Finola!! Roberts call did trigger this he's a hater.

  • The music used when Duke sees Anna after the miscarriage is the same music used when Frisco sees Felicia after she has Maxie.

  • I didn't watch GH then but somehow I saw this episode and I remember it to this day. Can't say I recall any other TV miscarriage scene. That moment at about 5:27 got to me then and gets to me now. Bravo Finola & Ian and crew.

  • I so feel yur pain I lost my Bby at 22weeks

  • what Jennifer 792 said. Totally. :(

  • Not fair......Anna has been thru enough and Robert had no business calling the room with that message...He can't wait to brow beat Duke...timing was all wrong..,

I remember this scene from '88 when I used to watch--I cried then and I'm crying now...thank you to all you guys who comment and feel as I do......I swear it helps...no one I know understands these feelings of mine..

    Love that Duke...what a man !!!!!!

  • this made me cry

  • With the exception of Duke's "death, this was the lowest point of their storyline.
